   SmogBuster systems have standard components that adjust to fit virtually any designed configuration and are easily installed during pre-shutdown and removed when the job is finished. Standard systems are designed to operate on a variable airflow up to 10,000 cfm. Additional systems may be required in relation to the volume of the confined space being serviced. Typical systems include 18” diameter aluminium and flexible ducting, manifolds and work enclosures. In addition, individual local ventilation can be achieved through the introduction of at source small personal bore flex hose and inlet hoods. This provides at source ventilation ranging from 400 cfm to 2000 cfm. Filtration of participates down to 0.3 microns is also available if required.

   The systems capture fumes, dust, and particulate at the source allowing little or no contamination of the general atmosphere. This also controls hazardous gas levels, such as carbon monoxide and hexavalent chromium. OSHA recently amended the existing standard limiting occupational exposure. Refer to Reg.# 1910.252 (c) (3) (i). SmogBuster systems allow procedures such as grit blasting, metal spray, welding and other mechanical tasks to occur simultaneously in the same confined space.
